Swedish up-and-comer Tove Styrke has shared a Lost In Translation inspired clip for her latest pop gem, "Ego". Speaking to TIME, she had this to say about the making of the video:
This city is like eye candy and a very busy place with so much going on, and that was exactly what we needed to create: this feeling of being sort of out of place, isolated while surrounded by many many people.
I had so much fun. I moonwalked with strangers in Shibuya crossing, did karaoke where they shot Lost In Translation, tasted ‘chicken butt’ (?!) and got to know so many new amazing people on this trip!
"Ego" is taken from the Styrke's forthcoming LP Kiddo, slated for release on March 16th via RCA/Chess Club.
