Although not technically ‘new music’ (as has become the crux of this blog), An Album By Korallreven recently made a surprise appearance in my meanderings through the maze of Soundcloud1 . Realising that I had not done the duty of sharing this at the time of it’s release (late 2011, Acéphale2 ), I feel inclined to demand of you that you drop everything and expose your ears to this album. An Album… itself is an ‘album’ in the best sense; it is created, executed, and ideally experienced as a complete package. The flow is undeniable, the tie-ins from track to track are subtle, but conscious.
Korallreven (made up of Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder), handily, has recently been kind enough to make the album available in it’s entirety via their Soundcloud account – take a listen, and retreat into the visions of one of Sweden’s finest exports of the 2011.
